Respiratory and Sleep Specialist Consultations
A written referral from a General Practitioner or other Specialist is required for all new consultations. New referrals will be triaged by our medical staff and reviewed in order of urgency. We regret that we are unable to see patients under 16 years of age.
Respiratory Conditions
We specialise in diagnosing and managing respiratory conditions such as airways diseases (asthma, chronic obstructive airways disease, bronchiectasis), interstitial lung diseases, lung cancer, pulmonary embolism, pleural diseases and respiratory infections.
We have expertise in assessment of undifferentiated symptoms such as breathlessness or cough.
Frequently radiology imaging, lung function testing, pathology and respiratory interventional procedures eg bronchoscopy are used to assist with diagnosis.
Sleep Conditions
We are experienced in assessment and management of sleep conditions such as obstructive sleep apnoea, central sleep apnoea, parasomnias, narcolepsy and restless legs syndrome.
We commonly assess undifferentiated symptoms such as excessive daytime sleepiness. We provide timely review for driver’s license assessments for patients suffering from sleep disorders.
